Instructions

Sterilise your menstrual cup or disc after each menstrual cycle.

  1. Wash your cup or disc with mild soap and warm water before sterilising.
  2. Add approximately 30ml of water to the steriliser. Do not exceed the maximum fill line inside the steriliser.
  3. Place your menstrual cup or disc into the steriliser.
    • For menstrual cups: Place the cup upside down with the rim facing down.
    • For menstrual discs: Gently squeeze the sides together to create an elongated shape and place the disc vertically inside the steriliser.
  4. Secure the lid firmly. The steam vent allows pressure to safely escape during heating.
  5. Microwave on high for 1–2 minutes. Heating times may vary depending on your microwave. As a guide:
    • 1100–1250W: approximately 1 minute
    • 800–1000W: approximately 2 minutes
  6. Allow the steriliser to cool for at least 10 minutes before opening.

Warning: Steam can cause burns. Do not open or handle the steriliser until it has cooled.

Remove your cup or disc with clean hands and allow it to dry completely before storing it in a breathable pouch or inside the steriliser until your next cycle.
